Aloka Publications welcomes book proposals from academics, researchers, and practitioners worldwide. We publish peer-reviewed monographs, edited volumes, textbooks, and reference works in pharmacy and the pharmaceutical sciences, medicine and the allied health professions, and across science and engineering.

How to Submit a Proposal

Please use our Book Proposal Form. It covers everything the editorial team needs: book details, authors and editors, readership, purpose, competing titles, table of contents, timeline and marketing.

1. Download the form and type your answers in the white boxes.
2. Email the completed form as a Word file to info@alokapublications.com with the subject line Book Proposal – <working title>.
3. Attach brief CVs of the author(s) or editor(s) and, if available, a sample chapter.

Review and Publication Process

1. Editorial screening — our editorial team assesses the proposal for scope and quality (within two weeks)
2. Peer review — suitable proposals and manuscripts are reviewed by subject experts
3. Decision and agreement — accepted projects receive a publishing agreement setting out terms and schedule
4. Production — professional copyediting, typesetting, and cover design
5. Publication — release in the Aloka Publications catalog with a permanent web page for each title
